A New Owner ~ Part 2

Hey everyone,
Sorry that I took FOREVER to write this post.
(I got kind of lazy)
Anyways... here it is!!!

It was a beautiful summer morning.
Kit, Mia, and I were getting ready for Ivy. Sadly Rebecca has been very sick and was in the hospital so she couldn't be home to welcome her.
Kit prepared a super yummy looking lobster stew and Mia dusted.
Doesn't it make your mouth water?
All of a sudden the door busted open!
"I'm here!" shouted an unfamiliar voice.
I rushed over to see who it was.
It was Ivy! I was so excited to finally meet her.
"Hi everyone, I'm Ivy" she said
All the girls rushed over to great her.
"Hi I'm Kit, and this is Mia." said kit
"Hi!" said Mia
"It's very nice to meet you both!"
Said Ivy
Group hug!
The girls were about to give each other a big hug when all of a sudden the phone rang.

It was the hospital

To be continued.....

A New Owner? ~ Part 1

Today was an extremely crazy day. I was just laying in my dog bed when....

" I have great news!" Exclaimed Rebecca as she looked at her computer.
"What is it now Rebecca?" Asked Kit.
"I got an email from a doll named Ivy Ling. She was asking if she could live here with us!" Said Rebecca.

"Oh  my goodness! Say yes Rebecca! Say yes!" Kit said with excitment. "We should email Camp Doll Diaries and ask if Mia can come home for a week to meet Ivy."
"Great idea Kit, I'll do that right now."

The girls went to straight to work. Rebecca emailed camp doll diaries and Kit started to prepare a bed for Ivy. I just watched with excitement. I was so glad that Mia was coming home. I hate to choose favorites but Mia is definitely the best owner, no offense Kit and Rebecca.
An hour or so later I heard a knock at the front door
"I'm home" said a very familiar voice.
I rushed to the door. It was Mia!
"Bark Bark" I said
The rest of the girls ran over to welcome Mia home.
"Group hug!!!" said Rebecca.
I was so glad she was home and I am so excited to meet Ivy next week!
Bye for now,

Camp Letters From Mia #1

Hey everyone,
If you have read our previous post, Packing for Camp Doll Diaries, then you know that Mia
is away at camp. I miss her tons but luckily while she is at camp she can still keep in touch through letters. I've decided that I will post her letters from camp here on the blog. This is her first letter that I got today.

Dear Rebecca, Kit, and Honey

Camp Doll Diaries is SUPER AWESOME!!!! The first activity I signed up for was a nature hike. It was super-de-duper cool! I saw lots of beautiful plants, trees, and wildlife. I was able to take pictures of some of the things I saw.

A Coast Range Fence Lizard

Wild flowers
View from hill

Super cute bird!
Aren't the photos I took cool? I think my favorite is the one of the bird. Which one was your favorite? After lunch I have arts and crafts and I can't wait to go. I'll be sure to tell you about it in my next letter! I miss you guys bunches!
Love,
Mia

Isn't that the sweetest letter ever? I can't wait to see what other things she is doing at camp
Love,

Packing for Camp Doll Diaries 2014

Hi everyone,
Today has been a pretty busy day for TheDolly Trolley household.
Tomorrow is the first day of Camp Doll Diaries and Mia had not even begun to start packing. She definitely needed some help if she wanted to be ready in time for camp. The rest of the girls were out on a pic nick so the only person, or should I say animal left to help was me, Honey.
I decided that I would leave Mia to packing clothes because I wasn't sure what was in style in the human world. Instead I packed accessories.
The first thing on the list was sunglasses. The girls have tons of sunglasses so it was very hard to chose just one. I decided on a pair with a yellow and white heart shaped frame because yellow is both our favorite color.
The next thing on the list was to find accessories for the talent show. I figured that she would need her violin for that. She is a very talented violinist.
The last thing on the list was a sleeping bag. It took me a while to find the sleeping bag, at first I thought we didn't even have one. I finally found it underneath Mia's bed.
Yes, I know. I did say that the sleeping bag was the last thing on list but I just had to pack my special tennis ball. My tennis ball always make me feel good when I'm felling sad or lonely so I figured it make come in handy when Mia feels homesick.
"Wow! That's a whole lot of stuff!" Exclaimed Mia as she tried to wiggle her self free from the pile of camping supplies. "I think I'm going to need another bag" She said
So 2 bags and a violin case later, Mia was all packed and ready for camp. I'm going to miss her tons but I know that she will return soon. So farewell Mia, have a wonderful trip.

Love,

Lanies Birthday Suprise

Hello Everyone,

Did you guys know that Rebecca has an older sister??? Her name is Lanie and she lives in New York City. Lanie is an acting major at New York University so Rebecca doesn't get to see her that often. Since it had been a while since Rebecca had seen her, and it is Lanie's birthday, she decided to invite her over to our house for a special surprise party (Of course Lanie didn't know that was the reason for the visit)

Everyone in the house participated in decorating the house for her arrival. Mia made an adorable "Happy Birthday" garland out of paper and some yarn and Kit made a gorgeous place mat out of some old fabric of hers.

Rebecca made some really yummy looking Birthday Treats. I wish I could have tried one but I knew if I did try to eat one Rebecca would be pretty mad so instead I treated myself to some kibble.
Your now probably wondering, if everyone else in the house was working, what were you doing? Well being a dog in all, I am born to be a great gaurd so while everyone was off working I was keeping in eye out for Lanie, making sure that she didn't come in the front door without us being ready to surprise her.
I heard a knock at the door. "Hello, anyone home?" said the voice of a young girl. "Bark bark!" I exclaimed warning the other girls of our guest arrival. "1...2...3..." whispered Rebecca.
"SURPRISE!!!!!!"
Mia, Kit and Rebecca shouted as the jumped out of there hiding spots.
"Oh my goodness" exclaimed Lanie.
"Thank you so much!" said Lanie as she ran over to give Rebecca a hug
"Anything for my big sister!" said Rebecca "Lets eat!" said Mia
Lanie was super nice and we all had a great time. I can't wait till she visits again!

Sincerely,

Sharing is Caring

Valentines day is approaching quickly and TheDollyTrolley family is starting a new tradition. The girls call it a Cupid swap. They each make a gift for each other and the morning of valentines day they have to find it lying around the house.

Rebecca is making her gift for kit. I was able to take a photo of her using the sewing machine to create kits very special gift. Rebecca is quite the seamstress so I'm excited to see how it turns out.
Kit is making her gift for Mia. Kit has always been very observant of the people around her so she knows exactly what every one likes. In this case she knew show much Mia love jewelry. From what I can see it looks like she is making some sort of valentines day necklace.
Mia is making her gift for Rebecca. Mia is great at preparing beautiful meals and it seems like that's what she is making for Rebecca.
Being the caring dog I am, I helped clean up. I never knew doing the dishes could taste this good!
Well, I can't wait to see how all the gifts turn out! Hope you all have a wonderful valentines day

Love,
